Ciralight SunTracker Smart Skylights - Commercial and Industrial Lighting Solution
SunTracker Smart Skylights bring in more light for more hours than any other daylighting system. The number one commercial and industrial lighting solution.
SunTracker units use sun-tracking GPS technology and mirrors under the dome to track the sun throughout the day to bring high levles of diffused natural light into buildings. Our Smart skylights are entirely solar powered (no electrical hookup necessary) and allow single story buildings to shut off electric lights during day time hours. Designed with two thermal barriers these smart skylights provide the light of an 800 watt metal halide bulb but without the heat gain of normal skylights! The SunTracker Smart Skylights track the sun when it rises 10° above the horizon to an hour before sunset allowing the end user to turn the lights OFF during daylight hours. | Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) - Measures how much light comes through a product. The higher the VLT, the more light is transmitted. |
| Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) - Measures how well a product blocks heat caused by sunlight. The lower a skylight's solar heat gain coefficient, the less solar heat it transmits in the building. |
| U-Value - Measures how well a product prevents heat from escaping. The lower the U-value, the greater a skylight's resistance to heat flow and the better its insulationg value. |
